On site Staff Flu Clinic Fees

The QLD Government started its broad free flu vaccine program for all residents in July 2023, following an initial limited free vaccination in 2022, with the program becoming an annual event to boost uptake and ease enormous pressure on QLD hospitals. It’s a huge saving for school budgets and encourages more staff to opt for a flu vaccination, boosting healthier QLD communities. The announcement of whether the initiative will be continued is expected during Jan / Feb each year.

VaxiCare offers on site flu vaccination for all your staff at affordable and highly competitive prices, we will beat the price if you receive a more reasonable quote from another mobile provider. Our fee structure is uncomplicated and transparent. The more people we vaccinate the less per person it costs us to deliver the service, which allows us to offer competitive prices.  

During Free Flu Vaccine Programs for all QLD Residents funded by QLD Health:

  • The Flu Vaccine itself is free

  • VaxiCare charges a Fixed One-Off Fee per scheduled site visit

  • A minimum Limit of 20 administered vaccines is required

  • NO other out of pocket expenses or claims to be submitted

  • Pharmacy Vouchers - there is no need to have vouchers for QLD pharmacies, if your staff are unable to attend the booked onsite Flu Clinic they can simply book their Flu vaccinations at any QLD Pharmacy of their choice, and there should be no charge for them.

Alternative if QLD Health does NOT fund Flu vaccines for all QLD Residents:

  • Fee for the Flu Vaccine itself per Staff Member (around $25+GST)

  • Fixed One-Off Fee per scheduled site visit

  • A minimum Limit of 20 administered vaccines is required

  • NO other out of pocket expenses or claim submissions

  • Pharmacy Vouchers - to be advised

We do not charge for

  • Cancellations, Adjustments or Postponements

  • Administration to capture Paper Consent Forms, although we do not encourage Paper Consent Forms as it delays uploading vaccination records to Medicare.

  • Extended time, Our Nurse arrives 15 minutes prior to appointment and will stay on site to complete all booked vaccinations, we adjust appointments according to sudden changes in booking numbers

  • No additional Nurse Travel Charges for our South East Queensland Hinterland / Rural Service Areas

  • VaxiCare charges for Vaccines administered, not bookings, with a limit of only 20 administered vaccines

  • Efficiency, our vaccination rate is approximately 40 - 50 people per hour, it’s quick, Friends, Family, Parents are welcome to increase numbers to meet our minimum Limit. We have the capacity to manage large numbers, best suited for medium to large workplaces.
