About You

A highly organised person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A nurse that can establish good communication with clients and make them feel at ease during the immunisation process. Attention to detail, familiarity with IT processes and meticulous documentation skills are necessary to ensure accurate records and adherence to legal requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

  • Current, completed, accredited Immunisation Qualification.
    IMPORTANT NOTE:  Not just COVID Vaccination Training.

  • Minimum 1 year‘s experience in nursing (immunisation experience will be well regarded)

  • Current CPR Certificate

Also requires

  • Sound knowledge of vaccination procedures

  • Ability to work as a team player and strong communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Time management skills

  • Computer literate

  • Own car and mobile phone

  • Ability to manage adverse reactions or emergencies effectively

  • Current Blue Card for working with children

  • Ipswich & Ipswich Hinterland

  • Toowoomba & Darling Downs

Your Availability

This work offers flexibility for Nurses to fit shifts around existing commitments, best suited to RN’s who want part-time work during their time or days off.

In Queensland, it is mandatory for registered nurses (RNs) to complete an approved, accredited immunisation training course to practice as an Immunisation Program Nurse (IPN) and legally administer vaccines.
